Maina Devi Foundation is an organized, autonomous, non-profit, non-political, and non-governmental social organization committed to improving social aspects of development, including social, cultural, human service, public welfare, philanthropy, protection of human rights, education, health, children, youth and old, tribes, sports, tourism, agriculture, employment, children and women empowerment, youth leadership, communication, and environment protection. It was established in the far-western part of Nepal at Lamkichuha Municipality-3, Kailali in the year 2074 BS, and was registered in 2077 under the  Organization Registration Act, 2034, Section 4. From its humble beginnings, Maina Devi Foundation has grown into a vibrant organization working with a range of people across multiple sectors with more than one lakh volunteers.
